Does Sea Foam Motor Treatment thin out oil? [SOLVED]

I asked a few questions previously and the response was great. I recently went through a can of Sea Foam Spray on my 3.5 Ecoboost F150. Currently, I am running two bottles of Sea Foam in my gas tank with top tier fuel. Sea Foam everywhere!!!

I am up for an oil change sometime in the near future. I was thinking about adding Sea Foam to the crankcase. However, I put the truck under some fairly heavy loads on a consistent basis. Would you recommend Sea Foam in the oil during that time? Will it increase temperatures? Does it thin out the oil?Mess with any seals? Or cause any issues?

Thanks for the questions Kevin. Adding Sea Foam to your oil will not alter anything that you mentioned. Keep in mind that you’re adding oil to oil. The same volume of oil in your crankcase is still there. No worries.

I accidently added a full 16 oz can of Sea Foam Motor Treatment to my 5.3 Silverado. Will it thin my oil? What should I do?
