I have a 1952 Fordson Major tractor. It has a four-cylinder diesel engine that takes about 7.8 quarts of oil. I change the oil in my tractor based on work hours instead of miles. According to my manual I am supposed to change the oil after every 50th running hour.
So my two questions are: When should I add Sea Foam in the crankcase before the next oil change? Should I be running the tractor as usual or just let it idle as the product does its thing? I am looking to clean up old sludge buildup in the engine.
