How to use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in a diesel engine [SOLVED]

Hey Sea Foam,

I’ve used Sea Foam for many years on a variety of different engines: Nissan, Audi, 2 Toyotas, my lawnmowers, weedwackers, but I’ve never used it in a diesel.

My question: Are there alternate ways to introduce Sea Foam into a 2011 VW Jetta Sportwagen 2.0 TDI engine other than fuel filter priming and fuel tank?

While I don’t imagine that you guys have a record of every engine that your product has been used on, it’s worth me asking the authorities, you.

Thanks for the question Reinout.  These are the three ways to use Sea Foam Motor Treatment in a diesel engine: 1. Add to oil to liquefy heavy crankcase residues. 2. Add to primary fuel filter to clean fuel injectors. 3. Add to fuel to treat the entire fuel system.  If you do not want to try priming the fuel filter, consider adding Sea Foam regular when the tank is very low to create a higher cleaning concentration while you drive. Easy and always safe to do! Hope this helps!
