The best way to stabilize the fuel in your motorcycle [SOLVED]

2 part question:

I run ethanol-free fuel in my motorcycle. Do I need to stabilize it for a few months during winter, or can I just “brim” the tank and be fine?

Also on your website it says:

“For cars & trucks driven regularly, put 1 to 2 cans of Sea Foam in your fuel tank every 3,000 miles.”

Shouldn’t that be ounces not cans?

Thanks for the questions Rob. I think you’re giving Sea Foam too much credit! Some suggestions: For  motorcycle storage, you’ll be better off to add a full can before filling. Run the engine at least 10 minutes before filling the tank – that’s an easy way to prep a motorcycle for storage. It will stabilize the fuel, lubricate the intake and upper engine, then continue to clean as you ride through the first tank next spring.  When adding to fuel, the more you add the better it works to clean! Adding ounces isn’t much. Even if you consider adding one 16 ounce can to a 6 gallon tank of motorcycle gasoline, it’s a ratio of 16 to 768 ounces of fuel.  Hope this is helpful!
