Adding Sea Foam Motor Treatment to a low tank or full tank [SOLVED]

What is the best way to use Sea Foam Motor Treatment to clean a car or truck engine’s fuel injectors and upper engine areas? Is it better to add a whole 16 ounce can of Sea Foam to a FULL tank of gasoline or add a can when the tank is LOW?

That’s a great question Robert. The quick answer is that you can do either, but adding a can to a lower amount of fuel will create a stronger cleaning concentration.

How Sea Foam works in gasoline & diesel fuels: Adding Sea Foam when a vehicle’s tank is low will work better for cleaning injectors (or carburetors), intake valves, and chamber areas because the cleaning mixture is more concentrated. A lot of people like to add a can or two, then drive at least 20 to 50 miles before refueling to allow the stronger Sea Foam concentration to work through the fuel system.

Sea Foam Motor Treatment only contains 100% petroleum-based ingredients and is always safe to use in all types of gasoline and diesel engine fuels.  It does NOT contain harsh detergents or abrasive chemicals. Sea Foam in your fuel is always cleaning, lubricating, and protecting your entire fuel system!
